April 2017

This month, we’ll be using something a little more playful. What Pegman Saw is a new writing prompt website using Google Maps. Each week, a new location is posted, and the website asks that you write a story – 150 words or less – based upon your own street view tour, using the location link provided.

For our purposes, you can keep to our 100 to 500 word limit, or try their 150 word limit. Simply look at their website and choose one of the locations posted. Feeling adventurous? Drop a pin anywhere in the world and write about. Just be sure to quote the location you chose in your submission, either by including the name of the place from What Pegman Saw, or by sharing a link to the location in Google Maps.
